SEAMEO RECFON’s Director, Dr. Herqutanto, made a field visit to UKRI GCRF Action Against Stunting Hub (AASH) study in East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. The visit also marked the milestone of the 24mo visit of the last cohort subject of AASH-Indonesia.   During the visit, the director, accompanied by SEAMEO RECFON’s Expert and AASH-Indonesia Country Lead, Dr. Umi Fahmida met the Dean and Team from Faculty of Medicine Universitas Mataram (FM-UNRAM) and East Lombok Master of Trainers (MoT) Team including the Head of District Health Office and representatives from the District Education Office of East Lombok.

This visit also provides a platform for strategic meetings between SEAMEO RECFON, FM-UNRAM Team who support AASH and ECCNE, and East Lombok ECCNE MOT Team from East Lombok District Health Office and District Education Office to discuss research outcomes and ongoing efforts in addressing stunting.

This meeting is expected to strengthen cooperation with partner institutions and local government of East Lombok District in a joint effort to address stunting issues in East Lombok and nationally.
